Andrea Iannone est plus qu’incertain pour la course de demain à la suite d’une chute s’étant produite lors de la quatrième séance d’essais libres à Jerez ce jour.
Le pilote Italien est parti à la faute dans le virage 11 à vitesse très élevée occasionnant la destruction de sa moto. Il a quitté la piste en civière avant de rejoindre son stand où il a pu constater qu’il était dans l’incapacité de poser sa cheville aux sol. Il a été de suite transporté par son team à la clinique mobile pour y être ausculté.
Le docteur Michele Zasa, responsable de la clinique mobile, a évoqué l’état de son patient :« Il a subi un traumatisme à la cheville gauche, mais les radiographies sont négatives, il n’y a pas de fracture. Il devra faire un contrôle plus approfondi à l’hôpital de Jerez, car il souffre beaucoup. Avec une résolution plus grande au niveau des images, nous pourrons voir s’il y a des micro fractures ou d’autres blessures.»
